Hi there!  Welcome to the “Weaving Wondrous Websites Workshop”!  My name is Rebekah (aka “Merry Life Bringer” for those of you who know me from SARK class 😉 ) and I am the creator, designer, and author of the “We Live Inspired!” Website.  Everything you see here (including background and header art, buttons, graphic images, blog posts, etc.) was created by me.

Maybe you already have a blog/website, but you find yourself wishing you had a teacher, coach or mentor to hold your hand and show you how to do things that you haven’t been able to figure out or don’t even know about yet!

I would love to teach you how I did mine…

 

When I was new at this stuff and started creating my blog/website, I remember how lost and overwhelmed I felt at times!  It took me hours upon hours of research and much frustration to teach myself how to do everything!  Being a self motivated, tenacious person, I started putting the pieces together bit by bit.  Because I am self taught and had to learn the “hard way”, I have acquired a wealth of tips and knowledge that I can use to help others-like YOU! :D.  I want to help take some of the guesswork out of it for you so you don’t have to struggle to figure it out on your own like I did!

 

Mentoring and coaching are a specialty of mine…especially mentoring complete beginners & novices!  I have a knack for encouraging, motivating, and inspiring others.  For helping you believe in yourself and see that if I can do these things, so can you!  I also have a lot of patience and a heart for people.

 

Aside from what I do here at We Live Inspired, I have 6 years experience as a Team Coach/Director and Personal Mentor for my online team of women & families who are part of my “work at home” wellness business.  I have worked with many people over the years (with as many as 127 team members at one time), helping them to learn how to create a business and income online by holding their hands and walking them through the baby steps as we worked together at becoming confident leaders.  I became an adept “how to” coach during this process.  That is what makes this “Weaving Wondrous Websites (or WWW.) workshop so unique!  Aside from regular blogging advice to get you going, I also bring online business, marketing, and motivational encouragement to the table.

• Creating Word Press Blogs on a Budget (no it does not have to be expensive!  I will share tips on all of the free tools I use plus the lowest cost ways to start):  Info on picking your site’s name, tagline, mission statements, etc., purchasing your domain, selecting a web host, choosing a word press theme, and more!  We will be doing some visioning exercises and writing prompts to spark inspiration in some of these areas.

• Getting your blog set up with a mail delivery service so people can subscribe to your blog
• The importance of creating links on your site
• Images for your site:  How to create them (what programs I use), Copyright laws, Free legal Image websites I use, the importance of Image tags and Watermarks, etc
• Training to know your way around a Word Press site’s back office/dashboard.  Lots of info to share there!
• SEO-Tips on how to get noticed in search engines and bring more traffic to your site
• Discussing Blog stats, numbers, how you can find those out, etc.

• Monetizing Your Blog: Ways to create and utilize cross traffic and Many ways to make money blogging
• Creating Conscious Connections:  A term I coined to explain Blogging Etiquette, Proper Self Promotion, & building relationships/community-including exclusive not shared before tips to help build a following
• Social Media:  What ones I use, What ones are the hottest out there, and how to use them effectively.
• Along with Inspiring stories of the miracles and cool things that have happened during my time blogging here to encourage you and fun group visioning & manifesting games!
