My First Blog Gift Giveaway-For National Feral Cat Day!

I am so excited to be doing a giveaway for 2 Free Inspirational (and adorable may I add) gift items with photos and words from my We Live Inspired! website.  This is not about me, but rather to raise awareness for what I think is a very worthy cause..and a cause I am passionate about.  Everyone is welcome to enter, and feel free to spread the word, as it does help raise more awareness.
National Feral Cat Day 2012

If you have been reading the stuff I write at We Live Inspired!, then you have probably noticed I have been doing more stories about cats these days.  This is not a strictly cat blog by the way, but I did get inspired to start this blog after going through the loss of my doggie friend Kassie, and then unexpectedly helping a feral kitten birth her 2 newborns a week later.  I have been writing more about the cats the past month because I wanted to do a series to raise some awareness for the humane treatment of cats everywhere and a very worthy cause I support called “Alley Cat Allies” in honor of a big event on October 16th called “National Feral Cat Day.” (you can click on those words to the left for more info)

If you are new to this site and a fan of the humane treatment of animals (or maybe you just love inspirational stories, cats, or the cuteness of kittens!) I would like to extend a BIG welcome to you and encourage you to check out 2 areas of my website/blog where you will find all of the cat content.   You can find most all of these stories at the website tab “The Cat Colony”.  Just click on those words, and it will take you to a page where you can catch up with my project for this series.  The other area is under the Charities & Causes Tab and is titled “Alley Cat Allies” (which will soon have more content explaining their website and cause).  If you would like to SEE videos of the cats and kittens from the feral & stray cat colony that appeared off of my backyard, please visit my YouTube channel by clicking HERE.

Here are the 2 prizes you could win! :

1.  Calling all Eco friendly “go green” kind of people (or if you aren’t maybe this will inspire you to 🙂 ) – I have made a high quality reusable shopping bag/tote bag using cute images and inspirational words from the story about Courage (the cat that started it all). If you want to read the story  A Cat Called Courage (or how the colony began)” just click on the story title to the left and you can see the cute images used on the tote plus the inspirational story and words.

There are also a couple images of the baby kittens on it.  This tote has an off white background and is a durable and high quality nylon type material that can be rolled up really small and secured with the attached velcro ties and then put in your purse or pocket for when you need a bag handy.  You could also use it to keep crafts, knitting projects, or books in at home though!

Here is what it looks like:

Be Bold. Be Courageous. Take a Leap of Faith! ~Inspiring words from a cat called Courage. (this design is protected by copyright)

2.  A large refrigerator magnet with a picture of Fluffy’s 2 kittens (all rescue kitties) “Mickey & Minnie”  with the quote “Seek Comfort” on it from the blog post I wrote of the same name.  Click HERE to read that post if you want to see the image and story behind this .

Here is what the magnet looks like :
